Lexington, TN - Linell Wallace, 78, retired employee of Johnson Controls, died of heart failure Friday at Briarwood Manor Nursing Facility.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Palestine Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he was a deacon, with burial in Palestine Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington has charge.

He was a former Tennessee National Guardsman.

Mr. Wallace, the husband of Julie Mae McClure Wallace, also leaves a daughter Sandra Dodds of Luray; a son, Danny Wallace of Lexington; a brother, Jack Wallace of Trumann, AR; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
