Mrs. Finch was born in 1914 in Cedar Point, KS. In the early 1930's she moved west, living in Southern California and then in Oregon, where she married Loren Finch in 1935. During World War II she returned to Southern California, where she had her two sons, Patrick & Dennis.
After moving to Santa Cruz in 1960, the Finches built their home on Redwood Drive. Mrs. Finch enjoyed many activities; gardening, arts and crafts, restoring furniture, fishing and camping. She is survived by son Patrick Finch of Santa Cruz; brother Les Lansdowne of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Her husband Loren and son Dennis died before her. Cremation arrangements are by Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St.
