JOSEPH HARWOOD COLE, Sr.

Joseph Harwood Cole, Sr., 94, of West Palm Beach, Florida, died September 24, 2004. He moved to the Palm Beaches with his family in 1915. He worked during his entire working life with B.D. Cole Insurance Agency in West Palm Beach, which was founded by his father, Bertram Cole. He was Chief Executive Officer of the Company when he retired. He is survived by his wife, Harriet; his granddaughter; and great grandson, of Charlotte, North Carolina; his niece, Tampa, Florida; and his nephew, of West Palm Beach, Florida. He was predeceased by his son, Jay Cole. A Memorial Service will be held at Bethesda-By-The-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would request contributions in Mr. Cole's memory to Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf, 3417 Volta Place, NW Washington, DC 20070, or other charity of your choice.
