Jack Dudley Hearne passed away on July 28th in Athens with his family by his side.

Jack was born on January 3, 1935 to the late Israel and Lilly Hearne in Athens.

Jack attended Malakoff schools and was a job foreman in road construction. Jack was known to jokingly use the phrase in his career that he was a "jack of all trades and master of none". Jack was Baptist by faith and was a member of a small country church that is now known as Providence Baptist in Tool. Jack loved to hunt and fish when he was not busy raising his large family.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Jack is survived by his sisters; Cleo Jones and husband Edward and Weta Spivey and husband Edward, his nine children; Mollie Ragsdale and husband James of Tool, Jackie Robertson and husband John of Kaufman, Kathy Earwood and husband Thomas of Kaufman, Tammy Hearne of Kaufman, Lester Hearne and wife Cindy of Canton, Linda Aslobrrok and husband Curtis of Athens Sharon Hearne of Athens, Jack Hearne and wife Candi of Malakoff, and Glenna Green and husband Bobby of Athens. Jack will be greatly missed by his 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Life was held at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 30th at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel.
