Mrs. Eliza Lowe, wife of Henry Lowe, died at her home near Tallula, Friday fore noon March 2, 1906, aged 64 years, 8 months and 15 days. The deceased was born in Taylor county, Ky., June 15, 1844. She married Henry Lowe April 16, 1859 who survives her. They came to Illinois in 1884.
She was the mother of nine children, six of whom are living Mrs. Amanda W. Eads, Mrs. Lou Belle Woodrum, Mrs. Sallie B. Woodrum, Mrs. Ellen Lee Beard, Mrs. Ollie May Cornelius and W.I. Lowe of Kentucky. These with a brother and two sisters mourn her loss.
Mrs. Lowe had been a faithful member of the Christian church for over forty years and was prepared and unafraid to meet her Lord.
