A SAD DEATH

It is with profound sorrow that we chronicle the death of Mrs. Eudora Dowling, wife of Mr. N. P. Dowling of this city, which occurred at an infirmary in Montgomery at 8:40 o'clock Monday morning, May 25, 1914. The corpse reached Ozark on the 7:37 p.m. train that day and was met by a large number of people who accompanied the funeral party to the family residence on Eufaula street.

The funeral occurred at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at old Claybank where the mortal remains of this good woman was laid away to await the resurrection of the just. A more suitable memoir will be prepared for these columns in short tie and will appear as soon as obtained. In the mean time the star desires to join the host of friends of Uncle Peeler and his good family in extending to them our sincere sympathy inn this sad hour of affliction.
