PATSY MORENE GRIFFITH, 63, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital. Born June 23, 1949, in Hyden, Ky. She was self-employed, working for Home Interiors and also P & J Quilting. She is survived by children, Nicki Browne and Jim (Amy) Mills Jr., both of Fort Wayne; mother, Evelyn Brown of Fort Wayne; brother, Charles Cornett of Fort Wayne; sisters, Joann Hoskins of Oneida, Ky., Carol (Dan) Yeoman of Fort Wayne, and Sharon (Dave) Glant of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Jordain Spencer-Browne, Cassie Browne, Brandon Mills, and Alex Mills; many nieces, nephews and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Willis F. Cornett, and sister, Roberta Jo Cornett. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2012, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials may be made to The Fort Wayne Rescue Mission.
