Wife of Charles Wilson Earl

Hattie Leonard Earl. Logan. Mrs. Hattie Leonard Earl, 70, one of the early northern Utah settlers, died Friday morning in her home at 355 South Main Street after a short illness.
She was born October 31, 1867 in Farmington, a daughter of Truman and Ortentia White Leonard. She was married January 3, 1889 in Logan L.D.S. temple to Charles W. Earl, who died October 11,1937. Mrs. Earl had resided in Logan since 1919.
She is survived by four sons and four daughters, Earnest Earl, Mrs. Charles Jenkins, Mrs. Horace Taylor and Mrs. Walter Brown of Logan, Mrs. A.H. West of Collinston, Leo Earl of Fielding, Jeff W. Earl of Garland and Frank J. Earl of Provo; 18 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and three sisters, Mrs. Alice Welling, Mrs. M. A. Garn and Mrs. Jedd Earl, all of Fielding.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in Logan L.D.S. Sixth ward chapel. Interment will be in Logan City cemetery, directed by Lindquist & Sons mortuary.
