FRANK DRESSER IS SUMMONED.
Fairplay resident will be laid to rest in private rites Friday afternoon.
Frank Dresser, 76, resident of Fairplay district the last two years, where he had made his home with his sons, Elmer and Lester Dresser, passed away early Tuesday, Sept 23, 1941, at a hospital in Placerville. He had been a patient at the hospital for a month.
Private funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at Memory Chapel. Rev. J. W. Dunlop will have charge. Burial will be at Union Cemetery.
Mr. Dresser was a native of California, born June 29, 1865 at Yuba City. He was a retired rancher.
In addition to the two sons he is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. A Keyser of Crescent City, Mrs. J. C. Lombardi of San Ardo;, and Mrs. N. Heller of Sacramento.
Seven brother: C. A. Dresser of Arroyo Grande, A. R. & C. P. Dresser of Fresno, A. P. Dresser of Santa Ana, E. H. Dresser of Petaluma and L. E. Dresser of Santa Monica, and W. H. Dresser. In addition 15 grandchildren survive him.

Former Resident Dies at Age of 76.
Frank E. Dresser, formerly a resident of the King City, died Tuesday Sept 23, in a Placerville hospital at the age of 76. He was a native of California, born in Yuba City in 1864.
Mr. Dresser is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Margaret Keyser, of Creston, Mrs Leora Hellor of Sacramento, and Mrs. Mary Lombardi of San Ardo;, two sons, Lester Dresser and Elmer Dresser of Placerville. He also leaves 15 grandchildren and seven brothers. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Placerville.

Parents were Albert Richard Dresser and Mary Elizabeth Wellock Putnam-Dresser.

Kern County Pioneer Dies at Placerville CA Home
Frank E. Dresser, 76, pioneer resident of Kern County, passed away Tuesday at his home in Placerville, it was learned today. Funeral arrangements are being made by Memory Chapel of Placerville.
Surviving him are 2 sons, Elmer and Lester of Placerville; 3 daughters, Mrs. A. Keyser, of Creston, Mrs. J. C. Lombardi, of San Ardo, Mrs. Leora Heller, of Sacramento: 7 brothers, C. A. Dresser of Bakersfield, William A. Dresser of Arroyo Grande, A. C. Dresser and E. H. Dresser of Santa Ana, A. R. Dresser, and C. P. Dresser, of Fresno,, L. E. Dresser of Santa Monica; and 15 grandchildren.
