AIKEN - Mrs. Elizabeth Nunn Goldman, 93, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at home surrounded by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Redds Branch Baptist Church, and the funeral service will begin at 4:00 PM. The Reverend Jamie Rogers and the Reverend Gary Hanna will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Boatwright, Mark Goldman, Brian Hargis, Glenn Redd, Rod Boatwright, Tommie Blackwell. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Willing Workers/Gibbs Bible Class.

A daughter of the late James Berry and Bessie Willis Nunn, Mrs. Goldman was a lifelong resident of Aiken. She was a homemaker, dairy farmer, store owner (Goldman's Grocery) and former owner of Goldman's Dairy, which she opened with her husband in February 1943 and operated until the early 1950's. She began teaching Sunday school at the age of 13, and continued to do so for 75 years. She was the oldest living member of Redds Branch Baptist Church. Her unwavering faith and commitment to her Lord and Savior were an inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy G.(Bruce) Boatwright, Aiken, son Henry L. (Gloria) Goldman, Aiken; grandchildren, Robert Boatwright, Michelle Goldman (John) Gray, Stephen (Kim) Boatwright, Mark (Melissa) Goldman, Felicia Boatwright (Brian) Hargis, Missy Reese; 11 great grandchildren, Jeremy Hargis, Brian Hargis, Reese Boatwright, Stephen Goldman, Kortney Hargis, Brianna Browder, Ryan Goldman, Meghan Gray, Daniel Goldman, Ashlyn Boatwright, Elizabeth Boatwright; sister, Marge Hatcher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Clarence A. Goldman, two sisters, Nelle Cushman and Grace Crumpton; brothers, Norman Bonnett and J.B. Nunn.
