William A. Harrison, died Thursday,
December 30, 1943, at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Albert Grimes, Mt.
Olive, near Mount Airy. She was a
daughter of the late Thomas M. and
Mary E. Norwood and was aged 80
years. The following children survive:
Mrs. George Grimes, near Westminster;
Mrs. Nora Harrison, Frederick,
and Mrs. Albert Grimes, at
whose home she died; also nine grandchildren,
three great-grandchildren,
and the following half-brothers and
half-sisters: Walter Norwood, Baltimore;
John Norwood, near Mount
Airy; Mrs. Margaret Yingling, Philadelphia;
Mrs. Minnie Elliott, Catonsville,
and Mrs. Dorsey Baker, Brookland,
Md.
Funeral services were conducted
Sunday, meeting at the Grimes residence
at 1:30 P. M., with further rites
at 2 o'clock in Mt. Olive Methodist
church and burial in the church cemetery.
The Rev. Charles I. Wallace
officiated. C. M. Waltz, funeral director.
