Arthur Richard "Dick" Say, age 86, passed away July 27, 2012, at his home in Orem, Utah. He was born at home in Pocatello, Idaho, on February 2, 1926, a son of Arthur Leonard Say and Doris Ada Lerwill Say. He married Joan Marion Mason on September 2, 1961, in Reno, Nevada; their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Dick honorably served his country in the United States Navy aboard the YMS196, a Pacific Fleet minesweeper during World War II. He earned his associate degree with certifications in airframes & engines and in radio & electronics and worked as a commercial jet aircraft mechanic for United Air, eventually retiring from there.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Marion Say; their children: James Burr (Nancy) Howes, Steven Douglas (Annie) Howes, Steven Bruce Say, Arthur Richard Say Junior (Laura) and Mary Patricia (Ed) Nelson; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ron; and sister, Donna.
