As we go to press we learn of the sad death of the 18 month old child of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Casteel living northeast of Lancaster over in the edge of Iowa. The child died from the effects of cholera infantum Wednesday evening.
Mary Adah, daughter of Albert and Janie Casteel, was born 26 Jan 1901 (note: should be 1909) and died August 17, 1910, aged 1y 16m 21d. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Overturf, of Pulaski, at the New Zion schoolhouse Thursday at 4 o'clock p.m. Interment in the New Zion Cemetery. She leaves a father, mother and four sisters to mourn the loss of a loved one. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
