Died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 1988, on her 88th birthday, at 7:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Lincoln County, Miss., and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home Guardian Chapel, 11 a.m. Wednesday until religious services at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Thurston Brice. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Archie O. (Lurline) Roye, Baton Rouge; two sons, E. Leo Brown and Lenox R. Brown, both of Baton Rouge;a sister, Cleo Newman, Baton Rouge; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Enoch Brown. She was a member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Society of Greater Baton Rouge, 650 Steele Blvd., 70806.
