Dr. I.N. Bowser, lately of Millersville, but through a long life a practicing dentist in Martinsburg, Blair county, passed away on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. A successful and able man, his profession wore him out and paresis wrought ruin in a once powerful body. He was known in his county as a noble man, exemplary in his church, honorable among men, and beloved in his family. A life-long Methodist, he was a daring Republican in Civil War days and a Prohibitionist latterly. He will be attended to the grave by the Knights of the Golden Eagle, of which body he was a conspicuous member. Surviving are a widow, Mrs. Annie M. Bowser, and four children, viz.; Steward L. Bowser, Superintendent of the John T. Lewis White Lead Company, of Philadelphia; Haller R. Bowser, associated with his brother; Mrs. Carrie B. Frantz, of Millersville, and Annie E. Bowser, a single daughter, at home. The funeral will be held at the the home of his son-in-law, Elmer H. Frantz, Esq., in Millersville, on Monday at 2 p.m., with burial in the Mennonite Cemetery.
