MRS. IDA M. HOUCK

Wife of U. S. Houck, formerly general superintendent of the Altoona and Northern railway and for a number of years associated as engineer for the H. S. Kerbaugh company, died at 1.15 o'clock this morning at Memorial hospital, Johnstown, of a complication of diseases. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Cohen, deceased, was born in Huntingdon county and was aged 58. She was married at Entriken to Mr. Houck and with him came to this city. Some years ago they removed to Pittsburgh and later took up their residence in Johnstown, living at the Merchant's hotel. She is survived by her husband, and two children, Madeline and Richard, of Johnstown and a sister, Mrs. George Detwiler of 316 Cherry avenue, this city. The remains will be brought to Altoona to the home of Mrs. Detwiler and later will be taken to Newbury, Huntingdon county, for interment.
