With that, he went on to develop his own independent salvage business in Ashland, Hanover, and surrounding counties. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, the love of family and friends, watching the kids have fun, playing cards, and watching NASCAR Racing. Dale Earnhardt #3 and Dale Earnhardt Jr. #88 were his all time favorites. He liked participating in turkey shoots and showered loved ones with the many prizes he won. Henry was generous beyond measure and had a heart of gold. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives intertwined with his.
