For some reason, her parents "farmed her out," when she was a young girl. It is not known who raised her. She was married three times. She first married Eldridge Gladden, around 1895, but he died in 1898. She was sent to the Hospital for the Insane, in Norman, Oklahoma. She was seen living there, in the 1900 Census Report. On June 20, 1903, she married Harry Frederick Wiggins, but they divorced, around 1904. She was seen living with her father, in the 1905 Guthrie Directory, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, using the name of Daisy Gladden. She later married Charles Maine.
