Evar W. 'Andy' Anderson, 85, a longtime resident of Millbrook, died at home on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004. Mr. Anderson was the highway supervisor for the Village of Millbrook until his retirement in 1982. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Millbrook. Born in Dover Plains on Feb. 12, 1919, he was the son of Harold and Alice Wener Anderson. On Oct. 2, 1949, he married Fannie Massarelli at St. Joseph's Church in Millbrook. His wife survives at home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Lila Anderson of Amenia; a brother, Edgar 'Ed' Anderson of Poughkeepsie; a grandson, Michael Anderson and his wife, Lisa, of Millerton; a granddaughter, Melissa Whitford and her husband, Don, of Goshen, Conn.; and three greatgrandchildren, Jeffery and Dealia Anderson and Hunter Evar Whitford. He was predeceased by three brothers, Alex, Leonard and David Anderson, and two sisters, Grace Anderson and Eunice Cornel.
