Addie Mae Campbell Daves, 81, of 3622 Old Lincolnton Road, Shelby, went to her heavenly home Sunday, July 22, 2012. She spent her final days at Kings Mountain Hospice House.

Born July 6, 1931 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Martin Grady Campbell and Johnnie Madlene McFarland Campbell.

She was retired from Ester Mill after thirty five years of service and was a member of Duncans Creek Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Zane Carl Daves and two brothers, Dewey Campbell and Ernest Campbell.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Bumgardner Brown of Shelby and Kathy Standridge of Shelby; two brothers, Herman Campbell of Bostic and Gene Campbell of Ellenboro; four sisters, Ann Howell of Columbia, S.C., Beatrice Luckadoo of Forest City, Mary McNeilly of Casar and Helen Miller of Bostic; five grandchildren, Sherry Bumgardner Earwood and husband, Michael, Stacey Standridge Walker and husband, Travis, Michael Bumgardner and wife, Miranda, Deedra Standridge Dimsdale and husband, Jason and Jody Standridge; and twelve great-grandchildren, Megan and Malerie Earwood, Taylor and Melana Walker, Aubrey and Emerson Bumgardner, Izabell and Alex Moore, Eliza Dimsdale, Alyssa and Mackenzie Turner and Gracie Beam.

Visitation: 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston. At other times, the family will be at 3622 Old Lincolnton Rd. Shelby, N.C. 28150.

Funeral Service: 4:00 p.m., Thursday at Sandy Plains Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service. Officiating: Rev. Garin Hill and Rev. Jeff Faggart. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
