Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Rev. Terry Wilder officiating.
Mr. Crim was born in Swansea, a son of the late John and Dora Whitaker Crim.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Japan and the Philippines. He was the former owner and operator of Crim 's Liquor Store for 27 years.
Survivors include his wife, of 57 years, Ponnell Jumper Crim, of the home; two daughters: Lora Crim and her husband, Wayne Stahl, of Ladera Ranch, CA; and Wendy Shumpert and her husband, Gerald, of Pelion; two grandchildren: James Moore and Brian Shumpert; and three great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Anette Moore.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to his friend and caregiver, Sandy Yott.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home in North and other times at the home, 295 Brecon Street, Swansea.
