Seab married Debbie Lou Tidmore. They owned and operated Daniel Grocery Store, Gadsden, Alabama for 45 years and for the past 18 months prior to his death he operated the Star-Lite Motel in Decatur, Alabama.

Debbie Lou died in an auto accident Jan. 30, 1969 shortly before the death of Seab, Sr.
He served the military during World War I.
