A.F. and Mrs. Roadruck, mother and father of Mrs. William Shrouf of Concordia with whom they have made their home for the past few years, died Tuesday. February 7 and Saturday, February 11, respectively; exactly four days apart...

Mr. and Mrs. Roadruck played a great part in the making of Cuba and vicinity; coming to this county in the year 1870 from Iowa, and located on a farm near Cuba, later moving to town where they resided until 1920, at which time they moved to Concordia...

Amy Ayres was born May 16, 1852 at New York City and died Feb. 11, 1933, at the home of her daughter in Concordia, Kansas, at the age of 80 years. Mr. and Mrs. Roadruck were united in marriage at Des Moines, Iowa, Nov. 27, 1868; to this union six children were born; five sons and one daughter, all of the five sons preceding their parents in death...

Burial was made at the Willoughby Cemetery, south of Cuba. The remains of Mrs. Roadruck were laid beside that of her husband...

Mr. and Mrs. Roadruck are also survived by two grandsons, L. B. and Lee Shrouf of Concordia, and four great grand children; Mrs. Roadruck by one brother, George Ayres of Belleville...

Thus in death as in life, they go together into the Great Beyond.
