Dorothy Louise Lilly Ulrich, age 93, died Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at the Alpine Valley Care Center in Pleasant Grove, UT. She was born August 4, 1910 in Texhoma, Texas to Shirley Joseph Lilly and Bertha Louisa Puterbaugh. She was a 1928 graduate of Hagerstown High, Hagerstown, Indiana. She spent most of her life in the Hagerstown area until 1962 when she moved to Utah. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married Walter Ulrich, her high school sweetheart, June 30, 1928 in Hagerstown. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, June 30, 1941. She was very much loved and respected by her children and grandchildren. She was an avid quilter and genealogist. They are the parents of Walter Jr. (Lois) Ulrich, Lancaster, CA, Norma (Al-deceased) Akemon, Orem, and Richard (Genny) Ulrich, Provo. Preceding her in death were her husband Walter, three children and four brothers. She has 13 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, and 45 great, great grandchildren. Funeral services held Friday, August 6, 2004, in the Orem 4th Ward Chapel, 50 South 800 East. Services also held at the Culberson Funeral Home, 51 South Washington Street, Hagerstown, IN, on August 9, 2004. Interment will be in the West Lawn Cemetery.
