Charles Richards Jr., 73, of Brook, died at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at his son's residence.
He was born September 28, 1938 in Rensselaer to the late Charles and Irene Murphy Richards. He married Mary Kathleen Murphy on August 27, 1960 in Kentland. She preceded him in death on March 12, 2000. He was also preceded in death by two infant daughters and a sister, Judy Reid.
Surviving are three children, Tom Richards (wife: Sandie) of Brook, Melissa Scheurich (husband: Pat) of Rensselaer and Raymie Richards (wife: Janet) of Wolcott; three sisters, Maxine Honn (husband: Hedy), Betty Honn and Janet Burton (husband: Walt) all of Brook; one brother; Paul Richards of Brook; five grandchildren, Shawn, Lauren, Josh, Kyle and Ben and two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Kaden.
