Margaret H. Agle, 80, a resident of the Shippensburg Health Care Center, and formerly of 501 Brenton St., Shippensburg, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996, in the Carlisle Hospital.
Born June 22, 1916, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late Warren M. and Lottie Sommers Patterson.
She was a retired legal secretary, having worked for the late Shippensburg attorney Hilton Russell. Also, during her life, she was an assistant librarian at the Shipipensburg Public Library.
She was a member of Shippensburg Presbyterian Church, First Court Chapter 470, Order of Eastern Star. She was an avid bowler.
Mrs. Agle was the widow of Ernest L. Agle, who died April 20, 1993.
She is survived by one son, Larry E. Agle, Fairfax, Calif., one sister, Jane P. Wagner, Homewood, Calif.; and one granddaughter, Holl N. Agle, San Leandro, Calif.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services were held thursday in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. James Richwine officiated. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.
