Bettie Gertrude Moran was born Sept 18, 1888 in Kentucky to James Henry Owen and Effie Estes. She married Walter Joshua Moran who died in 1968.

2 sisters, Mrs. Fred Piper of Fort Worth, Miss Hazel Owen of Los Angeles
4 brothers, John S. Owen of Abilene, Clyde E. Owen of La Grange, Jim Frank Owen of Sapeolpa, Oklahoma, and George S. Owen of Torrance, CA. She was a former resident of Childres and Springtown, a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Springtown and 5 year member of Springtown OFS.
Services were held at White's Chapel in Springtown on May 28, 1975 at 10:30 AM with Reb. Bill White and Rev. Phil Ratliff officiating.
Interment was in Springtown Cemetery.
White's Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
