DeArmond --- Norman R. DeArmond, a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. R.G. Moody, of this city, died in Kansas City, March 18. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock from Bomgardner's chapel. Burial in Mount Hope cemetery.

Word was received here Wednesday that Norman DeArmond, died in the hospital at Kansas City , March 18. He had partially recovered from a minor operation but developed a severe case of pneumonia, which proved fatal.
Interment took place at Topeka, Thursday, March 20. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Olive Moodie DeArmond, who is one of the teachers here; a brother, here, and mother and other relatives in Eastern Kansas, to mourn his death. He was well and favorably known here and was a member of the Christian church.
The sympathy of the entire community goes to the bereaved wife and relatives.
