Officials said he had been in patient for only a few hours.
The body was taken to Jay and Swift Funeral Home.

Survices for Edward E. Hills, 88, 222 E Ninth St., Jonesboro, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Jonesboro Methodist Church with the Rev. Walter Crosby officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Hills died at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Marion General Hospital.
A native of Defiance, Ohio, Mr. Hills has been a resident of Jonesboro 70 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge for 50 years. Mr. Hills was a retired employee of Owens-Illinois Glass Co.
Survivors include two sons, Warren, Indianapolis, and George, Livermore, Calif.; six stepchildren, Mrs. Fay Richards, and Mrs. Harold Slater, Gas City, Mrs. Doyle Scott, Jalapa., Mrs. Mark Hacker, Huntington, Evert Pollen, Jonesboro, and Emma Turner, Gas City.
