Mrs. Ward, a former resident of Jefferson Street, Martins Ferry, died Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the Ford Nursing Home, Yorkville. She was the widow of Richard Ward who died in 1961.
Mrs. Ward was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the 65 Club of Martins Ferry.
Surviving are four sons, Richard J. Ward and Alfred E. Ward, both of Martins Ferry, George Ward and Ivor C. Ward, both of Bridgeport; two other daughters, Mrs. Helen Douglas of Martins Ferry and Mrs. Bessie Bunting of Cambridge, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ward was born Sept. 26, 1881, in Swansea, Wales.
