He married his first wife; Susan Ellen Suter in 1892. Together they had two sons, Harry Bliss and Frank Mathias, and one daughter, Mary Lucinda. Susan died 16 days after giving birth to their infant daughter. Daughter Mary, died 9 days after birth. His son Harry preceded him in death in 1902 at the age of ten yrs.
His second wife was Ada Brenneman, whom he married around 1902. Together they had two daughters, Ruth B. and Anna L. Ross. Tragedy struck a fourth and fifth time when wife Ada, passed away seven month's after giving birth to their daughter Anna in 1905 and daughter Anna, died at the age of sixteen in 1921.
Albert married again for a third time around 1915; wife Emma Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) Ross. One daughter, Lois E. Ross, was born to this union. Emma preceded him in death in 1930.
Albert was survived by three of his six children; Frank, Ruth and Lois and their families.
He was employed as the Deputy Clerk of Garrett County Court, in Maryland.
Albert experienced great heartache and sadness in life, but he had many joys as well. He lived a good life and passed away at the age of 82 yrs.
