Services for Mrs. Mary Lucille "Nanny" Green, age 97, of New Harmony, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 6, 2008 in the New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Caldwell & Bro. Wesley Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow in the New Harmony Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Mrs. Green died on Thursday, July 3, 2008 in a Tyler Nursing Center. She was born on July 22, 1910 in New Harmony to William Dallas & Lula Jane West Newton and was a lifelong resident of New Harmony. Mrs. Green was a member of the New Harmony Baptist Church and was formerly employed by the R.L. Davis Manufacturing Company and Jerry's Flower Shop. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Otto Green in 1968; 2 Brothers, Jody Newton and George Newton and by 3 Sisters, Mae Meadows, Susie Barron and Lillie Cates.
Mrs. Green is survived by her Son & Daughter-In-Law, Ray & Maxine Green of Tyler; Daughter & Son-In-Law, Wanda & Bill Jeffrey of Tyler; 5 Grandchildren, Kim & Scott Kersh, Kristy & Steve Messer, Steve & Jana Green, Greg & Lynda Green, & Lynde & Dirk Larimier; 8 Great Grandchildren, Ryan Kersh, Shea & Joey Yeargain, Kyle Messer, Megan Messer, Jason & Amanda Green, Amy & Josh Meek, D.J. Larimier, & Jared Larimier; and by Great Great Grandson: Carson Michael Green. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Kersh, Steve Messer, Steve Green, Greg Green, Dirk Larimier, and Ryan Kersh.
