J. H. Gesner, aged 83, father of Mrs. E. C. Holbrook of Florence, and Mrs. Fanny Abbott of Chicago, died at St. Bernard's hospital, Council Bluffs, Thursday, March 14. The funeral was held from St. Mark's church, Florence, March 18, at 3 p.m. Interment at Forest Lawn cemetery.
