DIED:--On Sunday, November 13, '87, of natural weakness, Anna, wife of Frank Shimek of this city, aged 72 years, 4 months and 9 days. The deceased was born in Bohemia in the year 1815, where she lived until 1870 when she crossed the ocean to America in company with her husband and children. She was the mother of eight children, only three of whom are living, namely: J. J. Shimek of this city and Mrs. Nelson Mapes and Frank J. Shimek of Farmington township. She was carried to her last resting place in the Kopsa cemetery on the 14th inst. amid a large concourse of people. The aged husband and sons and daughter have the sympathy of the people in their sad bereavement.
