Larry Lee Kilgore, 57, of Macon passed away March 9, 2000 at the University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri.
Mr. Kilgore was born August 24, 1942 in Macon, Missouri the son of Herbert Lee and Marie Davis Kilgore. He Married Debra Morris on March 19, 1980 at Macon, Missouri. He graduated from Macon High School in 1960. He attended Kirksville State Teacher's College and received an Associates Degree from Moberly Area Community College. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Macon Country Club. He coached Little League and taught Sunday School classes at Loch Haven Nursing Home and served in the Jail Ministry. He worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation for 34 years.
Surviving is his wife, Debra of the home, his mother Marie Kilgore of Macon, three sons Mark Kilgore of St. Louis, Missouri, Brian Kilgore and Jason Kilgore both of Macon, two daughters, Denise and her husband Duane Graves, Autumn Joelle Kilgore also of Macon, four grandchildren, Cody Graves, Bryce Graves, Annie Graves, and Kailey Graves, all of Macon.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 12, 2000 at the First Baptist Church in Macon with Rev. Scott Carlson officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Macon. Visitation will be from 6-8 Saturday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials for his daughter, Autumn Kilgore which may be left at the funeral home.
