Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, rejoined family members Dec. 28, 2000.

She was born July 28, 1919, in Salt Lake City to Leon Bernard Rogers and Florence Anne Anderson. She was raised in the Salt Lake City area and attended local schools graduating from West High School and Excelsis Beauty College. She married John Rawle Baylis in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Dec 9, 1942. They raised four children in Rose Park and later in Bountiful. She loved the gospel and served in many different capacities. Mom was an example of love and service to all who knew her. She and her sweetheart of 58 years celebrated their wedding anniversary Dec 9. She will be remembered for her beautiful handwork and yearly family Christmas parties.

Survived by her husband; four children, Judy Nash (Roger), Joanne Montgomery (Wallace), Patricia Conklin (Robert), John Baylis (Susan); 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Rogers (Donna); sister, Lois Ingleby (Wilf); sisters-in-law, Winifred Rimington, Blanche Shaw (Wilbur); numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by sister-in-law, Joan Rogers. Preceded in death by one brother, Lawrence Rogers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2001 at 11:30 a.m. at the Bountiful 14th Ward Chapel, 1500 S. 600 E., Bountiful. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, and at the ward Wednesday from 10:15-11:15 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
