Edythe Whitehead Marshall, 89, of 4351 Colham Ferry Road Watkinsville, GA died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1999. A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Marshall was a daughter of the late William Walker and Isabella Rix Whitehead and was the widow of Waymon Hinton Marshall. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in education and was a re-tired Oconee County school teacher with 45 years of service. She was a member of Ashford Memorial Methodist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Fri-day in Huff Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Hoard officiating. Survivors include three sisters, Adrienne W. O'Dillon, Dorothy W. Strickland and Mildred W. Nixon, all of Watkinsville; a brother, William W. Whitehead, Watkinsville; nieces and nephews; and a special friend, William Watson. The family is at the residence of Mrs. Mildred Nixon, 110 Southland Drive, Watkinsville. Bridges Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements
