Juanita A. Gerich, 79, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away in Mesquite on Sunday, July 22, 2012.Juanita was born on November 9, 1932 to Robert M. and Bessie L. (Barton) Adcock in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. She grew up in Dawson Springs and attended school there. On September 19, 1972 she married Ernest R. Gerich and they made their home in Hutchins, Texas then to Mesquite, Texas and then to Seagoville, Texas in 1995.She worked as a Nurse's Aide for private home care and nursing home care. She worked for Golden Acres Home for the Aged for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Phillips Catholic Church. She also loved to crochet.She is survived by her husband, Ernest R. Gerich of Seagoville; daughters: Phyllis Grant and her husband, Bob Grant of Balch Springs, Texas, Brenda Thomas and her husband, Joe Capehart of Oklahoma; sons: Randall Alexander and his wife, Barbara of Crandall, Texas, James Alexander of Abilene, Texas, Richard Cruz, Jr. of Dallas, Texas and Ernest R. Gerich, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Toole, Texas; seventeen grandchildren: twenty-seven great-grandchildren: two great-great-grandchildren, and one brother, J.W. Adcock and his wife, Lois of Dawson Springs, Kentucky.She is preceded in death by her daughter Betty Pedigo and her son Bruce Alexander.Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery of Ennis under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
