JANICE HUDSON
VICTORIA- Janice Hudson 97, went to join her family and loved ones in Heaven on July 22, 2012. She was born on February 17, 1915 in Marshall to the late S.F. and Lucille Richards McClaran.
Janice married Al Hudson in Marshall on March 26, 1938 and they had two daughters and one son. In 1958, the family moved to Corpus Christi where Al built and later retired from the Gulf Winds Motor Hotel. After retiring, Al and Janice moved to Victoria where they resided until death. She was a member of Faith Family Church.
Janice is survived by daughters, Barbara Wilkinson and her husband Dick of Lago Vista and Chlois Strong of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Donna Besong, Barbara Vickers, Sheri Goble, Ron Johnson, Shane Estes, Dean Strong and Shad Estes; fifteen great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Al Hudson a son, David Hudson, and three brothers.
Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Grace Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Funeral Home with Deacon Ed Lenamon officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shane Estes, Shad Estes, Jared Estes, Dean Strong, Darrell Goble and Kenneth Kickendahl. Honorary pallbearers will be Kagan Estes, Kael Estes, Kamden Estes and Jacob Strong.
Grace Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
