Graveside service for Lucy A. Barden Key, 83, were on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL with Rev. Joe Teel officiating. Mrs. Key went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rowey and Lula Woods; husbands, Drew David Barden and Durwood Key; sister, Alice Trent, brother, Johnny Woods and grandson, Shelby Andrew Barden. She was a nurse at Sylacauga Hospital for 40 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sons, David Barden (Debra), Cabot Barden (Libby) and Michael Barden (Tamara) all of Sylacauga; brother, Rowey Woods of Baxley, GA and Jim Woods of Reidsville, GA; sisters, June Pearson of Reidsville, GA, Minnie Jones of Collins, GA, Martha Whatley of Reidsville, GA, Thelvia Golden of Maryland and Ann Lifer of Huntsville, AL; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
