A military graveside service for Retired Staff Sgt. Billy Causey, age 75, will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 10 AM at Mineral Springs Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mr. Causey was born March 4, 1937 and passed away July 18, 2012

Mr. Causey was a lifelong hunter and fisherman and leaves this rich legacy to his sons, grandsons and great grandsons.

Retired Staff Sgt. Billy Causey served 20 years in the United States Army. He served a tour of duty in Korea and two tours in Vietman. He received the RVN Armed Forces Honor Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Army Occupation Medal; Vietnam Campaign Medal; Over Seas Ribbons; Good Conduct Medals; Expert Field Medical Badge; RVN Gallantry Cross with Palms; and the Expert Rifle Badge ( M-16).

Visitation for Mr. Causey will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.

Mr. Causey was preceded in death by wife: Ilse Causey; his parents, Chester Causey and Ruby Allen; a brother Bobby Ray Causey; and a grandson Donald Ray Wagner.

He is survived by his children, Lorna Schubert ( Steve ); Wanda Barmore ( Johnny ); Willie Causey (Debbie); James Causey (Heather); Penny Scott (Kevin) and Clifford Causey. Also survived by 13 treasured grandchildren and 20 precious great grandchildren.
