Clifford "Kipp" Cyphers
CONCORDIA - Clifford "Kipp" Cyphers, 69, Concordia, died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital, Concordia. Mr. Cyphers was born Sept. 15, 1914, in Neosho Rapids, and lived in Concordia for most of his life. He was a retired laborer with the Missouri-Pacific Railroad, and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine, of the home; two daughters, Mary Louise Hydorn, Sunnyvale, Calif., and Retta Waite, Concordia; and three sons, William, James and Thomas; a brother, Mike; and two sisters, Phoebe Reeves and Elva Little, all of Concordia; and 12 grandchildren.
A rosary service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the Revs. Maurice Ptacek and Stephen Letourneau officiating. Burial will be in Saint Concordia Cemetery, Concordia.
Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call after 1 p.m. at the funeral home today.
