The couple raised a family of 18 children. Each child was considered a gift from God and was very special to John and Agnes. Agnes spent much time baking, canning, sewing, cooking, gardening and tending to her children. She worked on the assembly line at BH Electronics and later worked for the Senior Center. Agnes enjoyed traveling and made many trips to Texas and Florida, and in 1996 visited the Holy Land. She also enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Her faith was very important to her. She prayed her daily devotional, her daily rosary, was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and taught CCD education. Agnes died on Saturday, September 4, 2010, surrounded by family at the Avera Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall.
She is survived by her children Mary Jo DoVale of Temple, TX, Barbara (and Clayton) Stoll of Virginia, MN Jacqueline (and John) Robb of Prosper, TX, Kathleen (and Richard) LaMont of Mankato, Jeanne Wright of Ft. Worth, TX, Theresa John of Mankato, Rosemary (and Amando) Isip of Austin, TX, Henry Bot of Marshall, daughter-in-lawMary (Bot) Kvam of Marshall, Bernadette Loughrey of Shoreview, MN, Timothy (and Pam) Bot of Marshall, Terrence (and JoAnn) Bot of Glenwood, Patrick (and Cindy) Bot of Minneota, Paul Bot of Marshall, Michelle Rogge of Marshall, Michael Bot of Marshall, Caroline Bot of Pipestone, Christina (and Patrick) Blomme of Marshall, 47 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
