Cpl.Anderson served his country in the United States Army Airforce during World War II. Cpl. Anderson was shot down over Kobe , Japan on July 8, 1945. All eleven servicemen survived the crash and were taken prisoner. The comander of the prison camp executed Cpl. Anderson and the other inmates of the camp on August 14,1945 when Japan's surrender was imminent. On August 4,1949 Cpl. Anderson's body was repatriated to the United States and Buried at Trinity Cemetery.
