Services for Lois Octa Eggen, 87, were at 2 p.m. today in the Reydon First
Baptist Church officiated by Eddie Overstreet.

Interment will be in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County,
Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Services.

Mrs. Eggen was born September 23, 1904 in Burkburnett, Texas to Marth Ann
and Thomas Cagle and died August 30, 1992 in the Cheyenne Convalescent
Home.

She was married to Roy William Eggen on August 13, 1925, in Archer City,
Texas. They lived at Dads Corner, Texas, before moving to a farm in the
Reydon area in 1939.

Following Mr. Eggen's death, she moved into Reydon and owned and operated
the Reydon Drug Store for a number of years in the 1950's. She then moved
to Enid and was a supervisor at the Enid State School until her retirement
in 1969. She returned to Reydon in 1978 to make her home.

Mrs. Eggen was a member of the Reydon First Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, an
infant son, one grandson James Roy, two sisters and three brothers.
