Another Pioneer Gone
Mrs. Sarah Manning died at 8 o'clock last night at her home in Money Creek. Death was caused by bronchial and asthmatic trouble.
Sarah Ogden was born seventy-eight years ago and was married to Nelson M. Manning of Money Creek in 1855. Their home has always been in that township. They were the parents of nine children, seven of whom, with the aged husband, survive. They are: Danathus of Briceton, Ohio; James of Bloomington; Daniel of Money Creek; Rose of Money Creek; Mrs. Jennie Anderson of Gillespie; Mrs. F. E. Hester of Ackley, Alberta, Canada; Mrs. Iva Boyd of Minburn, Iowa.
There are also two brother and four sisters: James Ogden of Coal City; Daniel Ogden of Money Creek; Mrs. Elizabeth Busick of Towanda; Mrs. Deborah Lugenbill of Money Creek; Mrs. Mary Hinthorn of Money Creek.
There are 36 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Manning was a lifelong member of the Christian Church.
