Born to Pinkney Bridges (1841-after 1880 in LA?) & Susan Hodges Bridges (c.1844-before 1880), who married Oct. 14, 1865, in Hancock County, MS.

Mary married Franklin Jefferson Ballard (1859-1938) on Dec. 26, 1882, in Mansfield, Desoto Parish, LA.

Eleven children:
• William Pinkney Ballard (1885–1964)
• Ardelia "Delia" Ballard Miller (1887–1950)
• James Harrison Ballard (1889–1976)
• Lucy Grace Ballard Norris Durbin (1892–1948)
• Joseph J Ballard (1896-1962)
• Florence Susan Ballard Massey (1898–1979; twin to Lawrence)
• Lawrence Lafayette Ballard (1898–1966; twin to Florence)
• Eula Mae Ballard Miller (1901–1972)
• Stella Elizabeth Ballard Carroll Noeth (1903–1987)
• Ima Ruth Ballard Broderick (1906–1993)
• Jesse Miles Ballard (1908–1989)

Although the death certificate states burial in New Liberty Cemetery, the Old Libery Cemetery was the site of New Liberty School. I believe Old Liberty Cemetery is correct because there is no New Liberty Cemetery in Collin County.
