Daniel E. Darner age 82, of DeMotte, IN passed away peacefully on
Saturday July 21, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 15, 1930 in Roselin, IL to Omer and Myrtle (Lucas) Darner, both deceased. Dan was a 1948 graduate of Wheatfield High School. On August 22, 1941 He married Marlene Harrington, who passed away February 8, 2009. Dan had worked as an Operating Engineer for the Local 150 for many years. He was a member of the St Cecilia Catholic Church in DeMotte.
Dan is survived by his loving children; Craig Darner of Columbus, MI, Francesca (Kim) Sell of Wonder Lake, IL, Debra (Richard) Thornton, Robin (Dave) Hamstra, Daniel Jr (Cyndi) Darner all of DeMotte and He was also blessed with 14 grandchildren and 19Great-grandchildren.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Rosary Service at 7:00 PM night of visitation.
Memorials be made to Jasper County Hospital Hospice or the American Diabetes Association.
