Polk Abbott, died on Saturday at her
residence on Washington street, aged
68 years. Mrs. Abbott has been fail-
ing since the death of her son Phillip,
which took place some weeks ago.
Last week she was stricken with paralysis
and on Saturday she died.
Mrs. Abbott has been a resident of this
valley during the past 30 years. Her
husband P. H. Abbott, who died a few years
ago was well know as a lumberman here
in the early days. She was a consistent member of the M. E. Church. Funeral services at the house this afternoon. Interment in the old Bradford cemetery.
