On July 18, 2012, Rose A. Brown, 87, journeyed to Heaven to join the Lord. Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Shawnee Mission Parkway and Nall. A reception will follow the memorial service. Rose was born in Kansas City, KS, and had lived in the KC area all of her life. She was happily married to her husband, Clifford, for 65 years, who passed away in 2006. She is also preceded in death by her son, Richard and granddaughter, Denise. Survivors include her 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Bob Humiston, Merriam, KS; Annette and Jim Bennett, Mission, KS; daughter- in-law, Jean Brown, Kansas City, KS; 6 grandchildren, Roberta, Jennifer, Cliff, Cindy, Christina and Jimmy; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Shawnee Gardens for their care and support.
